There are currently eleven (11) members of the Stonycreek Township Police Department, plus a K-9 Police Dog. The Police Department provides services seven days per week, twenty-four hours per day (including all Holidays).
The Police Department provides police protection/services to all of the communities of Stonycreek Township, in addition to the Borough of Daisytown and the Borough of Lorain in Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
In 2000, the Police Department changed from a manual record keeping system to a computerized record keeping system. The Police Department is dispatched to calls, both emergency and non-emergency, by the Cambria County Department of Emergency Services Center (911 Center) in Ebensburg, Pa. The 911 center receives and dispatches calls for all Police agencies in Cambria County.
